Celebrating the 10th Annual Joshua Tarrant Memorial Golf Day

On August 2nd, 2024, the Joshua Tarrant Trust charity hosted its 10th Annual Joshua Tarrant Memorial Golf Day at the beautiful Stoke by Nayland Golf Club. This year’s event was particularly memorable as it was our first time at this venue, and we couldn’t have been happier with the turnout and the atmosphere.

We are thrilled to announce that we raised an incredible £11,750.00 during the event. The day started with 14 teams of four competing on the course, and later in the evening, 65 attendees gathered to enjoy a delicious two-course meal. The event is always filled with emotion, especially when we honour our darling Joshua. This year, we paid tribute to our wonderful Ambassador Karen O’Shea, who we sorely miss. The celebration included games, an auction, and a raffle, but above all, it was a day filled with friendship and laughter. It was heartwarming to see both new faces and our loyal supporters, some of whom have been with us since our first Golf Day back in 2013 at Saffron Walden Golf Club.

Since its inception, our golf day events have raised an impressive £97,000.00, which we are immensely proud of. Each event brings us closer to our goal of supporting our cause and making a difference in the lives we touch.
